Oh hey hello! This is Sam Herschel Wein & Chen Chen, your two favorite water sign poets!! Join us for an evening celebrating the giddy powers of friendship and poetry. So, we met in 2014 at a writing retreat and have been friends and poem-collaborators ever since. In 2016, we founded Underblong, an online poetry journal dedicated to the queer and magique. Then we wrote a chapbook together called GESUNDHEIT!, which came out in fall 2019 from fantabulous Glass Poetry Press. In 2020, we planned on going on tour with this chapbook. Our plans were crushed by the COVID-19 pandemic. In these difficult times, poetry and friendship have kept us afloat. And now, we're SO ready to share GESUNDHEIT! with more folks—with you!

We're beyond lucky to be joined by friends and special guests Muriel Leung, Jan-Henry Gray, and Sarah Gambito. We'll be sharing poems, including some wacky collaborative poems, and we'll be talking about, yes, friendship (truly the best ship), and dreams, and dreamy snacks, and who knows what other magics.
